As an adventurer and lover of luxury mountain resorts, my recent stay at La Maison D'Estournel was truly exceptional. Nestled amongst the stunning vineyards of the famed Château Cos d'Estournel winery, this elegant 18th-century mansion exudes charm and sophistication.The gourmet dining experience at the on-site restaurant was a culinary delight. I found myself indulging in the gourmet-standard dishes that featured produce grown or reared on-site. The 63-degree egg with truffle, duck breast with carrot and fennel, and walnut crumble with figs were a symphony of flavors that left me craving more.The large, interconnecting ground floor of the property was a welcoming space, with guests ambling between the open kitchen, the dining room made cosy with a crackling fireplace, and the library adorned with plush velvet sofas.Each morning, the buffet breakfast was a French feast of croissants, pastries, fruits, yogurts.
